A private project
On the weekend I started working on a project, in which I had to take my filming equipment and wake up at 6 in the morning (on a weekend) to visit Adayla jail Rawalpindi also known as the central jail of Rawalpindi, The Central Jail Rawalpindi was built from the late 1970s and early 1980s during the military regime of General Muhammad Zia-Ul-Haq, after the execution of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan on 4 April 1979 in District Jail Rawalpindi. The older jail was demolished and converted into Jinnah Park. The jail is situated in Rawalpindi - Adayla Road near village Dahgal about 13 kilometers toward west of district courts and the defunct/demolished old District Jail Rawalpindi. The village Adayla is about 4 kilometers west of the jail.
I was working for a private NGO who wanted to spread awareness about the issues faced my female inmates and how this matter goes unattended and overlooked, I personally got a lot of awareness about this issue, and I started to get a hang of working for them.
